Since its inception in 1999, the Jekyll Island Foundation has provided funding for numerous projects that have added even more luster to this already illustrious island. These include the Georgia Sea Turtle Center and the Jekyll Island Mosaic project – raising funds to help preserve historic properties and repurpose them into interactive, educational facilities for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
